This 2007 Supercharged Exige is one of only 300 built for the US. It has optional Chrome Orange paint, Track Pack, Touring Pack, Limited Slip, Traction Control and Star Shield. It was ordered from the factory in England in November of 2006 and delivered to its new home in Texas in February of 2007. It produces 220 HP and only weighs 2077 lbs. Power to Weight ratio is 1HP to 9.44 lbs.

The bodywork is made of hand laid fiber glass and is designed to create real down force. At 100 miles per hour the car has 100 pounds of down force pressing on the car to help it corner at over 1G. The front and rear are one piece "Clam Shells" and have no bumpers. You have to watch how you enter driveways and how you park. A curb or speed bump could do thousands of dollars in damage to the front of the car.

The bottom of the car is flat and sealed like a true race car. This along with the front splitter and rear diffuser create a low pressure area under the car adding to the down force.

The chassis is made of bonded aluminum extrusions and weighs only 150 pounds. The carpet set is made of 2 strips to cover the side of the chassis and 2 floor mats. Much of the chassis is exposed inside the car.

Front Anti-Sway Bar (5 way ajustable)
7 Twin-Spoke Forged Alloy Wheels in Matte Black.
Front Wheels/6J x 16 - 195/50R16
Rear Wheels/7.5J x 17 - 225/45R17
Yokohama Advan Neova A048 LTS Ultra Performance Tires
4-Wheel Ventilated/Cross-Dilled Disc Brakes
Lotus/AP Racing & Brembo Calipers with Anti-Lock Braking System.
The shocks and ride height are adjustable as well as the front anti-sway bar so that you can tune the ride for the steet or track.

The dash features a 160 MPH speedometer, 10,000 RPM Tach with a maximum 8500 RPMs. The car has a 6-speed gearbox and an on/off switch for the "spark interuption" traction control. It also has a Alpine raidio and speakers with XM, CD/MP3 and iPod connection.

In-car video recording is done with a JVC Everio HDD Camera with ChaseCam mounts. The camera has a 60GB hard drive, but you must use the MicroSD card for driving (vibration cuts off the hard drive.) I use an 8GB card that will record 2 hours of video at the highest quality setting.
