This page is all the car and truck shows we have been to so far in 2008. Some were very large shows with as many as 600 plus show cars and some were as small as 175 show cars. All were alot of fun and some very rewarding as well! I had only been to 1 car show prior to 2008 and that was a new car show, we had a lot to learn but we caught on a bit and have been having a blast going to assorted Wisconsin car shows!

5/18/08 Wisconsin Mustanger's All Ford Show
*******************************************

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoA few pics from the Wisconsin Mustanger's All Ford Show at Venus Ford in Cudahy Wisconsin on May 18th 2008, the Bronco really looked good at the show. I was surprised and dissapointed that few bothered to peek underneath the Bronco to see the detailing that I worked so hard on. Most only looked at the grill and engine compartment and a few people actually walked around the entire truck. The rusty Ranchero's that were there placed higher than my Bronco! Like Rodney Dangerfield says "no respect" for Bronco's. I actually overheard one person say "I'm surprised a brand new truck is in the show, how fair is that", I told him it was 15 years old, an I'm thinking..lots of these show cars and trucks have sponsors to pay for there half ass show cars...I don't!...how fair is that! What the heck...does it need to be rusty, crummy and sponsored to get attention?!?

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoThis was a pretty decent looking pickup until you got close, the engine compartment was rusty and very unkept. The exterior paint was cheap and bubbling up, underneath was dirty and rusty. It looked like the owner didn't even bother to wipe off the crusty valve covers let alone clean anything!

I guess this is more my idea of how a show car/truck should be looking. Well kept paint on the exterior and nice detailing under the hood. These two cars really caught my eye.

5/31/08 Sears All Wheels Show
*****************************

We went to the All Wheels Show sponsored by the Sears Auto Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on May 31st 2008. The Bronco was shined up once again, and it looked great!

The male judges loved the Bronco, but the woman judge kept saying "it's only a Ford Bronco". An F150 with gull wing doors and alot of plastic (body kit) took 1st in our class. No respect for Bronco's here either! Next show the top is coming off if it isn't raining.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoMy favorite....A Shelby Cobra...What a beautiful automobile. Of course a 1957 Chevy took 1st in the show, they are awesome cars!

6/26/08 Andrew Chevrolet Auto Show
**********************************

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoThere was a show last weekend that was put on by Andrew Chevrolet in Milwaukee and yours truly was there. I really had some awesome comments from alot of people, that 2200watt sound system that we just put in really gets attention!

I took lot's of pictures cause there was a ton of really nice rides at this show. I put together a slide show so I could share them..(Thanks for sitting with the Bronco while I ran around the show Sheri!)......Enjoy!

6/28/08 Cool City Classic Car Show
**********************************

So here we are on a Saturday morning in Two-Rivers Wisconsin for the Cool City Classic Car Show, Rob and I had to get up early for this one. Two-Rivers is abot 90 miles north of Milwaukee and the show started around 8:30am, I love getting up at 5:00am to wash the Bronco....Not! Rob did a great detail job on the Bronco while I hunted down the registration area, the mirrors under the Bronco really show off the underbody detailing.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco
Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco

We weren't to sure about unleashing 2200watts of rap with super deep bass on this crowd, so we cranked out some Lynerd Skynard every now and then to show off the sound system. The Cool City Classic Car Show is held right in the middle of the Downtown on 4 blocks of the Main Street, it was really an awesome sight to see all those Classics, Rods and Muscle cars lined up on both sides of the road!

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoWe really had a blast and we met a bunch of great folks when we were browsing around the cars and flea market. They have been putting on this show for years up here in Two Rivers and from what I had been hearing this is the only light of day alot of these cars ever see, with some of the local owners only bringing out there special old rides for this event only. We took 2nd place in our class, we were really excited because this is the 1st trophy ever for "Money Pit"! I was real happy for Rob, the joy on his face when the crappy truck he had put so many hours of work into over the course of 2 years finally got some real personal recognition!

Here is a slide show of the Cool City Classic Car Show in Two Rivers WI, there were alot of awesome rides! We will definately hit this show again next year, they put on an excellent show and the judges really worked hard and did a great job......Enjoy the pics!

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoWe added a few mirrors and a sign and easel and a few other things to bring to the show's, Rob said I bring so much stuff to the shows now....I will need a trailer. This one right here would do quite nicely!

6/28/08 Parish Festival Car and Tractor Show
********************************************

Here we go again, Sunday morning in Belgium WI at the Parish Festival Car and Tractor Show. This show has been going on for 9 years, It's founder(Diane Thill) died an untimely death but her son(Brian Thill) was carrying the torch and took over the responsibility of organizing the event. They really do it right up here in Belgium WI, they had a chicken fry going, a flea market and all sorts of stuff going on with plenty to eat and drink. Another batch of rare cars that only come out once or twice a year were scattered among the tractors and the cars we have seen at previous Wisconsin shows.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoWell we are definately doing somthing right this weekend, "Money Pit" brought home the bacon again! We took 1st in our class and again had some extremely awesome comments about the Bronco. Rob didn't make this show but Sheri came along for the ride and to help out which gave me a chance to walk around the show and make some freinds.......Thanks Sheri!

Here is a slide show of some of the cars and trucks on display at Sunday's show in Belgium WI, we had a great time and we will be coming back to this show next year! Enjoy the pics!!

7/5/08 All Ford Show at the EAA Museum in Oskosh WI
***************************************************

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoWe went to the All Ford Show in Oskosh WI at the EAA Museum on saturday, I forgot the camera so there are no pics to post except for the one I had taken by a WWII P-51 Mustang. It cost me $5 but it turned out pretty decent.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoI wish I had brought the camera, there was alot of really nice Mustangs there! We won 1st in our class and got this awesome Bronco trophy.(Some may think it is a Mustang....well it's not! it's a Bronco!)

7/6/08 Ducktona 500 Classic Car & Truck Show
************************************************

On Sunday Rob and I went up to Seyboygan Falls WI for the "Ducktona 500 Classic Car & Truck Show. We were thinking.....Ducktona????.....They sell numbered raffle tickets and have a plastic (rubber) Duckie race in the river. Each ticket bought gets a duckie with the same number. They tossed around 21,000 duckies at $3.00 each in the river this year....totally insane...but really fun. The car show drew well over 300 cars and trucks!

Again....Money Pit brings home the bacon placing 1st in the 4WD class. We have been on a roll, I took a few pics at this one and put together a small slideshow.

7/12/08 French Creek Days Car Show
**********************************

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoWe went to a show on Saturday in Francis Creek Wisconsin, The French Creek Days Car Show was a decent time. They had truck and tractor pulls and a flea market and a whole bunch of other stuff going on, we took 1st in the 4x4 class and got a long distance award(80 miles) It was a good time and we will probably be back next year, I put together a slideshow(below) of a few of the rides. We had planned on hitting another big show on Sunday, but with a big win on Saturday I figured I would save a little gas(the show was 93 miles away) and be happy with the win we scored on Saturday.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco

There really was alot of nice rides at the show in Francis Creek, and there were alot more trucks here than any of the other shows. Did you notice something a little funny with the old Ford van? The body is on backwards! I asked the guy why he went with a build like that and he said "I'm old and retired and have a ton of tools with nothing better to do" There are several large shows in the coming weeks that we will be going to, hope "Money Pit" keeps the winning streak going........This is alot of fun!!!!!

7/26/08 Fox Lake Fire Department Classic Car Show
*************************************************

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoRob and I went to an awesome show in Fox Lake Wisconsin, there were 600 plus cars and trucks and who knows how many more that were not even registered. The local Fire Department puts on the show and these guy's really know how to do it right! They claimed to give out some of the largest and most ornate trophie's around so Rob and I really wanted to check this one out.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco

Impressive and then some! They weren't kidding, just look at this trailer loaded with premium trophie's! The Grand Champion Trophie was a whopping 6 feet tall! This is getting to be a well known show in Wisconsin and being right in the center of the state they draw cars from every direction! The Fox Lake Fire Dept. Classic Car Show was really alot of fun as well, with great raffle prizes and excellent food. With over 600 cars and trucks to look at , along with a car corral for sellers and other vending area's there was plenty to keep you busy. After the main show they had a sound competition, burnout competition and muffler rapping contest's.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco
Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco

There were alot of kickass 4x4's there that's for sure, that was the class we were entered in and man alive...this was some really stiff competition. This was a judged event with extremely professional and knowledgeable judges. They really worked hard and spent alot of time with each and every vehicle and display. The event as a whole was well organized in every detail and the best show we have been to yet.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco
Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford BroncoWe won the 4x4 class and really received alot of great comments on the Bronco. The trophy we were awarded is by far the nicest one we have won yet! We will definately be back for this gem of a show next year! I really don't know for sure but since I have gone public on my love for Mobil 1 Motor Oil, great things have been going on for the Bronco. Coincidence??...Maybe...But I think when people see you using the best they feel your confidence, using the best oil in the business in my Bronco gives me alot of confidence because I know that my engine is fully protected!

This Beautiful 1957 Chevy Belair won the Grand Champion Award, it is by far the best '57 Chev I have ever seen. I'm sure there are some nice ones out there but this one would stack up with the best, I have gotten to know the owners and they are great folks. Great job with the Chevy Kurt and Kelly!

Here is a slideshow showing a fraction of the show cars at Fox Lake, Enjoy The Pic's! Rob and I were completely imppressed with the quality of nearly all the rides at this show, I can't wait to come back next year!

8/3/08 Unique Classic All Car Show
**********************************

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco"Money Pit" won the Modified Truck Class at the Unique Classic Car Club's Annual All Make Car Show in Milwaukee Wisconsin on August 3rd 2008. It was the club's biggest event for the year and it drew some very impressive rides, the show was held at the old AMF Bowlero on the west side of Milwaukee. They had a pretty good deal going for those that brought show cars, charging only a $1 a game but I passed and choose to stay with the Bronco and sweat in the parking lot. Like I said there were some great looking rides there and I got to meet some new freinds, I have a little slide show of some of the rides on display...........Enjoy the rides....I did!

8/17/08 27th Annual Kiel Custom Street Car Show
***********************************************

We Had a great time at the 27th Annual Kiel Custom Street Car Show and Swapmeet in Kiel Wisconsin on August 17th 2008. There were around 200 VERY high quality show cars and trucks, we felt very fortunate to come out of this show with any kind of award let alone 1st place! There were 2 killer vintage Ford Bronco's (a 1966 and a 1974) that looked almost like they were never driven and many other sweet trucks and 4x4's but "Money Pit" rolled em all over and took the high honors! I was pretty scatter brained cause we had to get up early for this one and I forgot the camera, I was pretty pissed about that cause there were alot of really fine show cars and trucks there that I had never seen before.

8/23/08 4th Jesus Built My Hot Rod Car Show
*******************************************

Sheri and I visited a great little show in Janesville Wisconsin on Saturday August 23rd 2008, it was put on by the New Life Assembly Of God Church of Janesville. We were surprised at the low turnout for this event as there were only 125 show cars and trucks present, the early morning rain and threatening late morning skys probably kept quite a few rides in the garage I'm sure! Still the rides that made it there were really top notch, we were in a different area of Wisconsin than in the previous shows we have been to this year so 95% of the show cars I had never seen before.

Frdbrnk408's 1993 Ford Bronco

"Money Pit" was awarded 1st place in the 4X4 Open Class, again we felt fortunate because there were quite a few really sweet 4X4's there! The show was alot of fun and the trophie we recieved was a whopping 38 inches tall, put this show on the hit list for next year......Definately!
