My Vanagon come from USA to Ireland. Its beautiful car,but is a little bit hard for petrol.So i like change an engine for 1.9 Diesel.If someone know which engine i can use,please let me know.

Hey Mike, Diesel gas here cost about the same. The only difference that I know is that a Diesel engines can last longer and can be more costy to service. You should check into a TDI conversion or a Subaru motor conversion for the money. My opinion... I dig Ireland. Peace
