Welcome! This is a tour of my 2001 Audi S8. This is in the "A8" section until they get a S8 section added to the Audi section.
A little about the vehicle itself. I purchased it from a friend in town that is a doctor. He gave me a really good deal on it and went off to buy a new Lexus SC 430. I have had it for a little over five months now.
The S8 comes with a V8 4.2L engine with 40 valves. 360 bhp and 317 ft. lbs. of torque. This is S4 and S6's big brother. It has little problem in any situation on the road. Tight corners, acceleration, passing or teaching a boy a lesson in conservative, classy vehicles. Nothing made in North America can really compare. This car comes standard with "Quattro" all wheel drive.
The interior is very comfortable and classy with all ammenities you would expect. I love the sunroof, the heated seats, and the power everything. I had a smaller compact vehicle before this, and it is nice not to have to worry about people in the back seat being comfortable anymore. I love the leather.
What I really appreciate about the S8 is the safety aspects. This car has traction and stability control. It uses an aluminium body. Other standard features are Brembo brakes, more air bags than you can shake a bat at, HID lights, and of course AWD.
