How-To Remove OEM Stereo and/or Install FM Modulator to OEM Stereo.

1) Remove vent over stock radio. Easiest way to do this is to open both vents up & with one finger in, grip it & yank it straight out.

2) Now if you have an automatic place car in 2nd gear. Pull out ashtray & remove screw I circled in above pic.

3) Now you need to pop up trim around shifter. Easiest way I came up with is stick a flathead screwdriver in one spot & move it gently all around. This will alow you to loosen trim till your are able to yank it off without breaking it. After removing trim you will see above right pic.

4) Now remove 2 screws I circled in above pic.

5) Now remove 2 screws above OEM radio as I circled in above pic.

--You are now done removing OEM radio because it will come right out. If you wish to connect a FM Modulator then continue steps--

6) First off you will obvousily need a FM Modulator & also (2) Nissan Antenna Adapter Cables aka Nissan Diversity Connectors. I bought mine from Best Buy audio shop & they knew what I was talking about. I’m sure you can buy these at any audio shop.

7) Now you just plug & play with plug shown in above pic. For power on the FM Modulator I tapped into the negative & positive wire in the cigarette lighter (sorry forgot to take pic of that).
