This is a really fun little car. I did not care for the stock shifter when I got it because the throw was too long. But with a KartBoy shifter and Corksport bronzoil bushings the shifting action is a joy now.
The other major change was to replace the motor mounts with stiffer after market mounts. It is a much more involving car now, but does have some rattle at low rpm.
When it was time to replace the tires on our MPV minivan, I took that as an opportunity to upgrade the wheels and tires on the PF and transfer the Protege wheels over to the van. These are MazdaSpeed Racing Hart wheels with Bridgestone KDW 2 tires. All in All I am verry happy with the whole package.
