This is my original ride. A 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo Z34. My old 1985 GMC is visible in the background.
As you can see, it led a hard life. This is what happens when Monte Carlo nose meets Lincoln Town Car rear end. Leaving from a stop light, a lady in a Town Car that was in front of me slammed on her brakes for no apparent reason and I had no time to stop. You're looking at $2500 in damage. I bent her license plate and scratched her bumper. Sadly, I don't think the car was ever the same again.
And this is what finally ended the Monte's life:
I was going to work on a Saturday, stopped in the middle of the road to turn left into the parking lot, and I was rear ended by an Impala going an estimated 75 mph which pushed me into oncoming traffic where I got t-boned by the Rav-4 in the background.
Owch.
What you're looking at is 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung, lacerated liver, severe neck sprain, concussion, various cuts and bruises and temporary hearing loss in my right ear. Yeah, that was not fun.
