As a true Oldsmobile lover and muscle car enthusiast we wanted a rare 442. It was purchased for my wife in 1999. It sat on a restoration waiting list for 5 years waiting for one special, maticulious Oldsmobile enthusiast who loves these cars and restores them back to orignal.
My wife proudly speaks (brags)of her 442 to anyone who will listen. We spared no expense on her 442, everything is brand new or restored to orignal. 400 motor, Muncie 4 speed, non a/c, 3.91 posi, power disc brakes, --A paint code, a special order factory executive car. Power windows, courtesy light package, power trunk, console, 8 track player, ralley pac, tic toc tach, speedminder.
2 yrs later we proudly store this beauty away in her climate controlled capsule awaiting the next Oldsmobile National show. It won "best of class" and first place at the Texas Olds nationals in June 2006. In her first show my wifes 442 graduated into a senior class in future judged shows. (In the hunt for a car hauler to trailer it to KY this July).
