Here are some of the electrical items that have been upgraded...

First are the Pioneer 6x9's that replace the stock 4" speakers in the trim above the rear hatch glass.  I didn't take a lot of pictures during the "making of" so there's only the finished product, sorry.

I started by using some 1/2" MDF.   I used the cutout that comes on the box with the 6x9's for a template.  I made two baffles using the mdf with the template.  Once they were cut out and sanded down I glued them together and used some felt carpeting from my local fabric store to cover the baffles.   You have to butcher the plastic above the glass to make the speakers fit in there, but the sound is worth it.   Make sure you have it aligned right, and that everything fits back in place before screwing the baffles down to the plastic from the backside of the plastic.   Once the plastic was mounted I put some self-tapping screws through it into the frame so the weight of the 6x9's doesn't pull it off accidentally.   Once your plastic is mounted, you can mount the speakers and grills.   The sound is night and day compared to the 4" speakers.    I'm running these off the Pioneer head unit, no additional amp.

Here I have added a "relay holder" in the small cargo compartment in the hatch area.

The box is again using 1/2" MDF.  It just fits snug in there, it doesn't mount to anything.  I sanded the box down to fit just right, and with the carpet mounted, you can just slide it in and give it a little push to make sure it fits all the way to the back.  You could also opt to throw a screw in there to mount it t the plastic.. I did not.

Here's where I started on this setup a while ago piecing it together over time.  I fried a few relays and fuses in the engine bay due to heat I believe.  I haven't had any issues with heat since moving it in the cab.

4 gauge amp wiring kit from ebay.   I found one with a power distribution block too. (small block on left)   I ran the 4gauge from the battery, to the box in the back.
Three port dist. block -  One 4 gauge in from battery.   One 4 gauge out to power inverter located behind rear seats.  One 4 gauge out to second power block on right.
Second dist. block (also ebay) powers the relays which in turn power all my accessory lights. (Bumper fog lights, brush guard fog lights, roof rack driving lights, and roof rack mounted reverse lights)  The size of the box and power dist. block allow room for growth too if I want to add more accessories whether it be an amp, lights, etc.
