Really? You've already got a design? Cool, man. Do you have any pics/drawings? If you do/can, email one to me at, I'd really like to see what you're going with. It will also be cool to see how it comes out of the CNC machine. I'm not really any better at building sleepers than anybody else, but this is the 5th 84 Corvette I've built/helped build, so I know a few tricks on this chassis. I have learned alot of weird stuff I didn't think would happen, so feel free to ask me (feel free to mail me via the above address) if you need to, and I'll help if I can. I recommended the cams because, of all the mods I've done to the Vette they are my favorite next only to the internals (alot more expensive than cams... like 5 or 6 times). I am actually in the process of building another sleeper, only a 1987 300ZX this time. Well, as sleeper as a pearlescent white sports car can be, which I'd guess is a little less than a pearlescent brown one... lol It is on CarDomain, so if you get a chance check it out. Later -Josh

Thanks for the compliments on my Vette! I plan to add more pics after I drop AOL and get faster internet. lol And I thought my Vette was sleeper... a Buick Riviera??? Once you've gotten it all tuned up, it's definately gonna be bad. You are gonna kill a lot of Camaros with that. I love the concept... You definately need to record some of your races. I'd love to see a close up on the face of somebody you beat. lol I voted for performance mods. I think that cams and adjustible cam gears would be a worthwile modification. Make your idle all nice and muscley like the Vette's (if you like that... lol), and it could definately make a big difference in the response of the car coupled with that supercharger. Then the cam gears could help dial it all in for maximum potential with the boost cooler. I don't know the availability of performance cams for your car, but if there aren't any sold you could get a compitent shop to regrind yours. I'd also suggest new valve guides (for the cams) and since you would be in there, new shims/springs and flow optimizing valves. Speaking of the Boost Cooler, I saw a test in a magazine on one in a turbo'd NSX. Very good results, kept the NSX from having to get an intercooler and allowed him to turn up the boost. I'm giving you 5 stars, man. Also, have you considered a bodykit? Later -Josh
