I am the original owner of this 76 Laguna. In 86 this car went into storage. When my son turned 16, in 2004, he asked if we could get the old chevelle running again. My first thought was...fat chance. We pulled the car out of storage and brought it home, put a new battery in it and some fresh gas. The car turned over 3 times and started right up. Now I was in trouble. After endless hours of searching for parts and a month or two of knuckle busting effort, not to mention the $$$, she's back!! All new suspension, springs, shocks, ss brake lines, wheels, tires, all new hoses and the list goes on and on and on!
Surprisingly, after sitting for 18 years, engine compression was still perfect. Runs like a top. Still looking for some parts though. Personnally I liked the chrome moldings on the Mailbu's. The chrome rocker panel moldings have been impossible to find. Anyone looking for Laguna Emblem Inserts, check the photos here. I have several sets of these available.
