Right after I got her!
Some quick personal touches like a small license plate and removing the ugly stock foglights..
After that, it was time for the first things on my to-do list:
US-spec black outlined taillights! With many thanks to a good friend from the US probeforums and owner of the awesome street rod probe: pw_cc_runner
To this day still one of the best mods I did to the car.
After having some leaking valve cover gaskets I decided to search some spare valvecovers and intake manifold and started working.
Out with the old, and in with the new!
Also replaced the old vaccuumlines and some other things while back there.
Also, 5 days of polishing on a spare intake manifold and some new 8mm spark plug wires.
Also added some hoodlifts to be able to show off the engine bay a little easier... ha! didn't make them for the Probe, but MX6 parts are always a good sollution. Just like the side indicators, which I replaced with clear ones. bye bye ugly orange, ruining my car!
Then it was time for some lowering springs, 50mm in the front and 35mm in the back. Also removed the doordings in a bored moment. Looks better, but I had the first dent in the door after just 2 days, great!
Also installed a short trow shifter and a gauge pillar. I was a little afraid of the ricy-ness at first, but I've come to like it. Pro Sport blue series gauges with vaccuum for the VRIS-system in the intake manifold (vaccuum operated butterfly valves), an oil pressure gauge and an air/fuel gauge.. which is rather useless, but fun nonetheless.
Also installed a Magnaflow street series muffler (pretty expensive if shipped from the USA, whoa!) and a resonated testpipe. So it makes a good noise!
Also installed a Roush shiftknob to have some white on the interior. This will be the last interior mod too, I dont want to overdo it.
Also notice the US spec EQ, this was never featured on Euro probes, also got it from PW_CC_Runner!
