Modification/Restoration
For this portion of my car domain page I will mainly go through the engine swap and the instalation of other upgardes going on to my car.
Taking out the "Old Wheezer" (A.K.A the 305)
This is the 305 but with some of the smog and the carb removed.
Here the Radiator, Fan Housing, Fan, and further emission systems were removed. We also labeled all the hoses and wires we disconnected even though were not going to use half of them on the new engine.
Now with the 305 and Turbo 350 free we start to remove the motor.
It alway helps to have extra hands. (Jason left; Dad right)
Now an empty cavity sits waiting to be filled.

We are just about to hook up the engine to the transmision. (Grandpa left; Dad right, could'nt do it without them)
The engine and transmission have been hooked the flywheel was also bolted on.
Now that we got it up in the air the torque conveter was locked into place and the engine was wheeled in front of the car.
Beleive me it took several hours to drop the engine and transmission into place. In other words there was alot more then just this picture involved to get this engine into place.
This with the dynomax headers installed and the performer rpm in place.
