Bought this truck completly stock from a 80 year old lady.It took only 4 days before i needed a more aggressive look.So far i have install a rough country 4" suspension lift with hydro 9000 shocks,33x12.5 mud king tires,true 2 1/2 dual exhaust with enko turbo mufflers and stainless steel tips.A talking alarm.Two tone 200 db airhorns,A real grenade transfer case shifter handle,lower temp,oil,volt meter gauges,new head liner,and now i'm making a custom fiberglass skull dash!!!!After the stock 305 shoots crap(still runs great with 153,000)i'm going to put a 350 or 396 engine in it.Well i sold the campershell and bought a cool dual rollbar for $30.00,and a chrome bullet grill for the front.I plan to add a hood scoop,sunvisor,offroad lights for the rollbar,and a built 350 motor!

Well this was a very fun and muddy weekend.My stepson with his isuzu rodeo(stock)and i(my truck)was supposed to just leave the wives at home for 10 minutes or so,but that didn't happened!
We decided we would try out his new toy down a old low maintance road.Started out just running through some mud in the ditches.So we then decided to climb a 10ft vertical hill thats leads to some trails.I went first driving in reverse,no promblem.Then my stepson drove up the hill,no promblem.I decided to let him go first incase he got stuck in some mud i would pull him out.Ok so we both start down the trail(left side dry with overgrown trees,right side ooh my god do not fall in them ruts)about 50 feet in his rodeo slid off into the three foot mud ruts!So i was just going to pull him out backwards but he insisted on me going around him and pull him from the front.This is were the 5 hours of work begun!So i start to go around him and i feel like oh sh#t better gun it hard because now my truck(4" suspision lift and 33"tires)are in the same huge ruts.Got like 10ft or so and both diffs bottom out on the wet clay center.At this point were screwed so he calls a friend in a stock 4x4 silverado from an hour away to come get us out.When his friend shows up he pulls me out then when he tries to go in futher his right front tires nose dives right into the same rut i just got pulled out of.Not done yet.I then drive around the ruts and get in front of the rodeo,hook up my 10,000lb tow stap and yank.....snap,there got the strap!(probaly weakened by my truck getting pulled out)Ok so i'm setting on empty and decide to go get some gas,chains,jack,and blocks.When i show up this nosey guy is there right in the damn way,as im climbing the hill and headed towards the stuck vehicles,the dude slowly walks across the ruts in front of me so for like a split second i turn the wrong way and get stuck AGAIN!Now we are all stuck and the guy is still watching!After a couple og really deep breaths and decide not go ballistic on him,This other guy how was actually trying to help took my stepson and 40 bucks to wally world to buy a comalong.In the mean time we are told that some other guy is coming with a k5 blazer and"CAN PULL ANYONE OUT FOR TEN BUCKS"i'm like ok lets see it.So they get back with the comalong and we get mu truck out,i then turn around and hook a chain up to the stock silverado and pull him out.So now all thats left is the rodeo.The dude shows up in a k5 looks stock with 33's.He says "$10 and ill drive through the trees and pull him out"At this point i'm frigin tired of them damn ruts so i we give him the money and pulls the rodeo out.My stepson wisely take a dry trail back around and 5 hours later we get home.Tired,sore,muddy and my truck looks like it sank ti the bottom of the missisipi river,i get a call a hour later from the guy who drove to get the comalong saying"The dude who pulled out the rodeo just blow a head gasket".Freshly showered and a full pain pill later i'm like "UM I'M NOT GETTING BACK OUT TONIGHT,SORRY"He said that someone was coming to help so i didn't feel to bad.I would help any of them again,just not after 5 hours of backbreaking fun!
