Hi! This is my '93 tamaraw assembled. It used to belong to my grandfather who passed away in '98... now it was passed to me. Since then I've used it to collect sacks of rice from the province, family outings to the beach and even to carry very heavy loads like sacks of cement and sand. This vehicle is actually called an AUV(Asian Utility Vehicle) and can only be found here in the Philippines (I think...). They're rugged tough and are soo simple in design that maintenance is very low. And it can fit loads of cargo without it getting wet...duh! And too think this was assembled by people without a huge factory to their disposal. Adding stuff like ABS and airbags is also possible (really!) but ofcourse it's going cost a pretty penny and to be honest it's not a neccesity if you knew...it doesn't run that fast. (Max. 120km/h loaded with passengers...never really drive far by myself)Hehe!
Anyway, I hope you like my tamaraw. I just repainted it. (Do-it-yourself, no pera dude) I wish I had 'before' pics so you could see the damage my @ssH0LE neighbor did to the paint. And sorry I don't have pics of the interior because it is still a mess and under progress. But till my next update, enjoy and thank you for visiting! =)
This is her as of today. Don't mind the dates on the pics, i forgot to set the right date. hehe! I can't believe I actually painted that...;P This door used to have loads of scratches and solvent spills...bad neigbors!~ tsk tsk No biggie, i bought second hand wheels, used Ford Escape rims 16"s. You should've seen what I had before...ordinary metal rims...yuck.These are the pics of the interior. It's practically begging for a decent pimp set-up. If i win that Precision amp A600/4 it's going to be a whole new world in there. You'll see. =)
