This is my 06' Malibu. It is still stock right ow except for speakers, but I am slowly working on mods (money is always tight.)

The speakers I have are Blaupunkt GTx's. 6.5" in the front, 6x9's in the back. My head unit is a Pioneer Premier 690UB which is pretty sick. I almost have enough for an amp to power my speakers instead of the HU.

The subwoofer is next! my buddy is selling his Digital Designs 9515 and his amp (don't remember the name but its good.) The only reason he is selling it is so he can get 2 DD 9518's. I also plan to get my car repainted blue with white/chrome accents. When it comes time for me to get new tires I am going to get some 20"s. The interior will be getting some seat covers and some beige panels will be painted black. The speaker grills are going to be replaced by the aftermarket ones once I figure out how to take out the rear grills.

the only reason i was able to remove my rear speaker grills is because i painted the carpet they were attached to. otherwise it would be a huge disaster. even after that the grills will not touch the speakers, its just for looks. sry i couldnt help u sooner but my computer has been down

nice, clean malibu!!! I think you should tint the windows, too.... for the sub placement, you can mount them on either side of the trunk behind the wheel well, and remove the spare tire, and place the amps there... you'd then have trunk space, and the ability to fold your seats down... although you wouldn't have the spare anymore...
