Recent news:
Ok, I got the new doors in and lined up. The motors were cleaned and tested, and I welded new gears in the one side regulator. Didn't cost anything but some time. I prepainted the doors (inside) so that it will be easier to paint soon.
I think I have to redo the rear brake emergency cables, and Adjust the choke. I need to put this indoors.

I have just replaced the box sides with new ones, the old ones were rusty. I also put new tail lights in. I purchased all new sheetmetal for the truck, I kinda had to. I went with all new suspension bits and brakes, and rebuilt the engine. The interior is stock and I will be replacing the dash pad, but nothing else inside, as everything is in good shape. Once the truck gets painted, I may look at a supercharger kit, or some aftermarket disc brakes all the way around.

This is the way the truck looks right now. I have some work ahead of me, but I think it will be worth it.

This is the plan, I want to paint the truck with a nice clean two tone paint scheme and go with some big wheels (of course)

I played around with the idea of flames, I could paint them to match this rendition, but I think I want to have a cleaner look now.

This is the top view of it sitting in the parking lot, waiting to be used again...

That is a 4/6 drop. The tires are 27" tires, so technically that is another inch from factory lower.
The torqu thrusts wheels are for sale, I just bought 20's

Very nice....I've got an 85 short and wide in the works since I wrecked it. Gonna lower it, how far is yours dropped?

Hey nice C10, I think it looks the best in the first picture. Nice rims, sits at a decent height and it just looks clean. Gotta love Chevys!
