Just How I bought It

After Phase One
Current Condition

Ever since I can remember I have always loved Fox Mustangs, something about the lightweight body mixed with a powerful V8. Finally with the aid of a new job and some extra income I finally aquired my first Fox.

If it wasn't for my wonderful girlfriend, Sarah I would have never have found my mustang. I had been searching for weeks and hadn't found anything so I did the only thing that I could think of to do. I gave up. I figured if I couldn't find one then it just wasn't meant to be.

Then, out of the blue, my girlfriend showed me an ad she had found in the paper. It was for a 91' Ford Mustang, just the car I had been searching for. I couldn't wait to call the number to find out more about it. I crossed my fingers, hoping it hadn't been sold yet!

After calling the number I was happy to find out it hadn't been sold. This was a great sign! I set up a time to meet with the guy the next day. The only bad thing was that the mustang was located all the way in Owensboro, Kentucky, which was an hour drive away! Plus, another downfall was we were not the only one's interested in the mustang. Another guy had actually already made an offer and was coming the same day to look at the car! All we had to do was wake up early enough to beat the guy there. Easier said then done. The guy was suppose to be there at 9 in the morning! This meant that we had to get up bright and early!

The next morning Sarah and I woke up early and excited about our trip. To think that I might actually own a mustang by the end of the day, blew my mind! So, we got in the car and drove for what seemed like an eternity. We followed our directions, hoping not to get lost, which we did not. Finding his house was actually really easy because it was the only house with the mustang sitting in front of it.

After seeing the mustang, it was love at first sight! In my mind I knew this was my dream car I had been searching for. Now I just had to take it for a drive around the block, which happened to be the very first thing that the guy asked me to do. So, Sarah and I hopped in and took off. Once behind the wheel I was a goner. I had to have this car...It was perfect!

Driving the car around the block once just didn't seem like enough. So I drove around the block again and again and again, finally Sarah told me we needed to head back.

As soon as we returned to the guys house I told him that I wanted to buy it. I was in love with this mustang and I was afraid that if I didn't buy it then someone else would snatch it up. I couldn't let this offer pass me buy. So, I went to the nearest bank and took out a loan, payed the guy and the mustang was mine! Unfortunately, Sarah got to drive the mustang home because I had to drive my car. (My car is a stick shift and Sarah does not do to well with it.)

Sarah and I drove it all the way home. I have collected alot of parts that I plan to put on very soon. I have spent alot of money on the mustang and I am not even close to being done. Hopefully when I am finished my mustang will look like the car I have always dreamed of owning.
