-new rad and electric fan optional from the factory.
-i put a ax-15 tranny in it because i was hauling the camper across Canada, right across from B.C. to Newfoundland.
-also had to change the t-case to a different year of the same model to bolt to the tranny.
-new springs and soa to clear 31's and give room for the camper to sqaush the truck.
-3 inch front coils and 2 inch spacers.
-homemade camper bars front and rear.
-heavy duty rear bumper.
-front bush guard.
NOW THE INTERIOR
-changed to bucket seats with a cherokee centre console
-took the mouldy rotten carpet out and put in a factory replacement rubber floor mat in.
-put in a kameleon cd player to have at least some tunes for the trip even though the speakers suck.
-installed a rpm guage to help with the break in of the cam.
-the only trouble on out 7,000km trip to newfoundland was in suit st marie, ontario when the pinion seals went in the rear diff and it puked the oil out, so we speedy sleeved it at mr transmission, (dont go to mr transmission), slapped the new bearings in and carried on our way, while we were in newfoundland the clutch master cylinder went, but that was it, a year later we went home, and we were in owens sound when the bearing cap on the passenger side front axle shaft flew out, we pulled over, i took it out in 1/2 hour, had to have the whole shaft replaced and then we were gone thats it in over 14,000 km of straight driving.
I also used it as my work truck when i got home.
i averaged 12 mpg with the camper on and fully loaded. but i was still able to keep it in 5th gear while on the highway for alot of the time
