Stay Tuned for one or more of these planned items on no particular order (actually in the order they come in at the right price)

Cobra/Mach 1 brake conversion

I actually went with the Mach 1 Brakes (which is the same without the gloss paint & decals) as the Cobra Brake kit. Same calipers, same Brembo rotors, same Goodrich stainless steel lines. I went with the stealth look, and much lower cost. When I took it in to Laird Noller Ford to get it all checked out, the mechanic couldn't believe it was a Cobra conversion -Looked like a regular brake check until he checked it out, then he started noticing everything else. Then he looked me up, and everything clicked into place when he remembered my name and the 1968 I used to have.

Decided to wait on the Eradispeed+ rotors as the IRS pieces are getting harder to come by, and since the v6 is 400-500+ lbs lighter than the Cobra and Mach 1, the heat problem that can anneal the calipers is not likely to be a problem with my car. Although it is winter, even after driving on the highway, the rotors are very cool to the touch.

It's been too da**ed cold to snap some photos when I have time, and I haven't had time while it's been warm. I'll post the photos when I get a chance. The rotors were WAY too bright right off the bat in any case. they looked like giant reflectors and the front wheels looked spindly in front of them. with some wear it will be easier to get a good shot.

Cobra IRS conversion

Just purchased the Independent Rear Suspension Subframe for $150 from a 1999 Cobra. Since I'm going with tubular control arms, an aftermarket set of CV joints, coilovers, solid & urethane bushings, and converted 8.8 diff, I only needed the subframe for my plans.
