APPEARANCE MODS - SUBTLE STYLE THAT DOESN'T ATTRACT THE BOYS IN BLUE & THIEVES

Ford Racing Black Bullitt Wheels 17x8

Used to be rare, now everyone's buying 'em. Great deal, 22lbs and $125 a piece. Sold my old set on ebay for $60.00 a piece -the OEM 16X7.5 wheel fits the old Fox cars perfectly, and are in demand. Total Cost $260.00 after selling my old wheels. Subtle & cool. The cost-benefit ratio for a tough light weight wheel is very good for the Ford Racing line of wheels. I could find lighter 3-piece wheels, but the cost would be in the thousands of dollars, and then I'd have to worry about theft.

So far a better ride than and Kuhmo Ecsta ASX. Better responses. Will update later

Bullitt Gas Cover
It's brushed aluminum for now, plan to paint outside ring copper.

Mach 1 grille Delete
I thought the billet was over the top for a black car, so I sold it on E-bay, and purchased a Mach 1 grille delete with a flamed pony. Will post pics, when I get a chance. Sold the OEM grille for $25.00 -Total Cost $50.00

Tried a billet grille, but it didn't fit the car or it's mission.

Sold both the billet and the OEM

Ford Racing Mach 1 Pedal Assembly
When installing, use WD40, or similar lubricant that will evaporate. Gives a bit better throttle response due to angle, and more travel, which keeps carpet interference down with regards to WOT. I generally purchase Ford Racing Items from GEFRacing. They're a wholesaler, and have the best prices I've found. I sold my old pedal set on ebay for $20.00 to offset costs.

Interior Instrument bezel Painted Dodge Bronze

I painted 'em. 1st you clean the pieces with a degreaser & let 'em dry. Don't touch the areas to be painted, -ever. Always paint with thin coats!! mask off the areas you don't want painted (inside the vents, around the cup, etc) then scuff 'em up with light sandpaper. wipe 'em with rubbing alcohol, & paint with primer, sand down any imperfections, wipe with alcohol, prime again, until perfect. Then paint with a plastic compatible paint, sand with ultra fine sandpaper, wipe, etc., until perfect, then paint with 2-3 layers of clearcoat sanding with ultra-fine, until the last layer is perfect, then buff and wax. That's all there is to it.

Mustang engraved stainless steel door sill plates
kscoyote's 2003 Ford Mustang
Piece of cake to install. -The tough part is getting it in the right place with the double sided tape. You only get 1 shot! It gets rid of ugly plastic sill plates. It's a subtle custom look people appreciate, even though they may not notice it at first.
