It's ALWAYS Cooler In The Shadows

We own 4 EEKs. They're great little cars.
How we got "Started" on them is I needed a car to replace my rusting '83 2.2 Dodge Charger. I looked a lot of places to find a ride I was happy with, and finally found a red/silver 1-owner '89 Sundance RS at my local Mopar dealer June, 2000.
Five months almost to the day of buying my RS it gets front ended by a woman not paying attention. While we're waiting on the cops a full size Dodge truck rear ends my RS. He's still damaged to this day cause these people's Insurance say... "Your cars totaled." MY.... Insurance walks away, tells me to "Deal with these other Insurances."
Oh, and I'm still paying monthly on my RS too.
After my Sundance gets damaged I find out from friend the rear spoiler I installed is from a CSX. I had no idea what a "CSX" even was until she told me.
Well again I need a car to drive to work. I find a white '94 3.0 2-door Shadow ES at a used car lot, 94,000 miles, not a bad car. One week later I get to have the tranny rebuilt to the tune of $1400.
But it all worked out cause my '94 ES has been a great car ever since. Got some power to him also.
Some of the things I've done to my '94 ES are: K&N drop in air filter, Bosch Platinum plugs, 8mm plug wires, and premium cap & rotor.
January, 02 I found a white '94 2.5 4-door Sundance, 93,000 miles setting at the local Mopar dealer. So I strike a deal with them and buy it for my girlfriend to drive. It's got some potential but needs a head gasket. We fixed the head in April. It's been a nice car for her. I installed a rear spoiler on the hatch for her cause we both like them (Spoilers, not the hatch). I got a complete hatch with spoiler for $35.
In late October, 02 my still damaged Sundance RS is giving me real trouble so I give in to these Insurances, take their settlement offer and buy a dk green '93 3.0 2-door Shadow ES, 86,100 miles with the $$$$$. It's got a couple of bugs to iron out, but it's been a decent car so far.
I highly recommend a K&N filter. Even just the drop in gives nice performance. My '94 ES has no trouble catching my '93 ES and they both have the same engine/OD tranny combinations
I also own an '88 2.2 4-door Shadow I bought as a parts car for $40.
