Cold air intake extention. B14 GA16De Sentra/200sx.

Go to your local muffler shop, and purchase one three inch mandrel bent U-Pipe.

Go to home depot or your local hardware store and purchase two three inch pipe couplers.

Start by removing the stock air boxes and downpipe.

Now you have to cut the hole in the fender (the one that the stock down pipe went through) to fit the larger three inch pipe.

Cut the U-pipe like the picture below.

We cut four inches off the bottom of one side of the pipe. The lower pipe. The cut a inch and a half off the other pipe. You might need to cut a lil more or maybe a lil less.

Take the lower pipe and push it up through the hole in the fender, and attach one of the pipe couplers. Just snug it up, you might need to adjust the pipe later.

Attach the other pipe coupler to the Maf adaptor. The install the upper pipe into the two couplers. Take your temp sensor, and mark a spot on the pipe where you want to drill a hole for the sensor. Take it out and then drill the hole. Depending on what year your car is, there are two different types of sensors. One that is installed with two screws, and the other that just pushes into the stock downpipe. So your are either going to have to tap two screws into the pipe, or use a grommett.

Now reinstall the upper pipe and snug down the rest of the screws on the couplers.

The way that we cut the pipe, puts the filter right in bacl of the fog light hole in the bumper. It would be a good thing to purchase an open top filter.

Make sure everything will fit and is in the right position. (with the battery in) Now tighten up all for the clamps down as tight as the will go. Reinstall the battery. Screw/plug the temp sensor in. And your done.

You can also make the full cold air intake. If you or someone you know has a welder. Here is a pic of the full intake.

They dont make aftermarket heads for the 98/99 cars. Cause of the small curve in the heads. What you can do is buy 94-97 heads and then your gonna need a 94-97 grille to match. You can get them from www.liuspeedtuning.com. He's a great guy, and a good friend of mine. Many people have baught stuff from him over at Nissanforums.com. You could also get them off of ebay, but I just dont trust them anymore.
