My car is a 1976 Mercury Comet. The exterior is copper and the interior is tan/plaid.

My dad bought this car back in 2002 for $400. When he purchased the car it was supposed to serve as a back-up, but he got a new car a short time after buying this. We got the car with about 75,000 miles on it and pretty much no problems. The only things we had to do were replace the front calipers, put in a re-built carborator, and give it a tune-up. I've been the driver of this car since May of 2006 when I got my license. The car now has almost 79,000 miles, but I'm going to take it off the road soon so I can work on it more.

Features
The car has a 250 6-cylinder motor and an automatic transmission. Obviously the car is carborated, it has a rebuilt carborator that was put in shortly after purchase. It is also equipped with a center console shifter which isn't very common for the 6-cylinder model of this car. Other features this car has that were added are the bucket seats, push bumpers, mag wheels, and special chroming.
