After this car sat for a while, the weather took its toll on the seals and gaskets on the engine. This was clear after I started driving it on a daily basis when I couldn't go anywhere without leaving a few puddles of oil behind. I drove the car like this for 3-4 years before I got fed up with finding things rigged on the car that eventually failed leaving me to fix them the right way. So instead of just identifing the leaking gaskets and seals, I ripped the drive train out and went to town.
Before I started
Just before I ripped it out
The oily nasty monster has been beached.
Sometimes, it amazes me that some people let their cars get this nasty.

After some scraping and the pressure wash

Reinstalled and running! Huray! Oh, buy the way...for those of you that have never rebuilt a turbo V6, make sure you prime the oil pump and don't re-use your head bolts!!! Yes this adds alot more work if you forget.
I've been wanting to rid myself of the factory air intake system since I bought the car, but I wanted to build it myself. I finally found the parts I was looking for, and man does it suck!
My 12" conical K&N filter along with the splash shield to keep it cleaner and dryer than it would be without the shield. Believe it or not, it works very well.
