This is my 1991 Mazda Miata, known as Jessy. Other than the stereo, chrome shift knob, and a cold air intake that I built, she is totally stock, and runs like new with 147,XXX miles.
This car used to belong to a good friend of my dad's, and I can remember getting rides in it, thinking what an awesome car it was. Little did I know, 12 years later I own it and drive it every day.
A lot of people tell me "it's a chick car," or have some other snide remarks like that. But I love the thing to death; it handles better than any other car I have ever driven, and nothing beats driving with the top down. Also, it sort of is a chick car, in the regard that when girls see it, I get lots of compliments. Now is that really so bad?
My previous list of modifications is actually a little bit short. So here is a much better actual list:
-Cold Air intake, home built
-JVC 200 watt head unit
-4 MA Audio 80 watt max headrest speakers
-2 120 watt max Infinity Reference door speakers (I have left myself room for improvement with an amp)
-Moss Motors red leather and chrome shift knob
-Rubber antenna
-Robbins 3 window top
-A/T carbon fiber pedals
-Hard Dog Deuce roll bar
