1978 Mustang II Ghia
The Leäther Nün has a V8 302 with about 60 000 original miles and hardly any rust, except some small bubbles here and there. Trying to keep her looking as stock as possible, except for a few mods under the bonnet. This includes a 600 Holley 4 barrel carb, Edelbrock Performer intake, Headman Hedders, and soon to be a dual stainless exhaust. For the record, she is currently down from the stands and back on her four wheels again. She has recently had a full underseal treatment that should keep her decent underneath. I have also finally managed to locate (thanks to the forum at www.mustangii.net) a Ghia Sports luggage rack that is guaranteed to finish her of in grand 70's stylee. Can't wait to install it. At some flush time in the future i might even give her a new paint job. A custom built dual 2,5" stainless exhaust system is on and it has gone through registration, so the car is now on the road. Apart from the some issues with automatic gearbox level, resulting in high revs before shifting, the car accounts for an amazing driving experience. Lots of torque and not quite so much grip. Great fun on twisty lanes. Would love to get hold of a 5-speed manual box.
