I also ment to say that John knows of some better winches than the one on my old bumper, which only had a 1,700 lb copacity. He knows of some in the 3,500 and 4,200 lb range that will fit inside the bumper. .

This John's Site who makes the bumpers you have seen on my bajs . . he also does lifts but its a little different from the scorpion lift. ask John and he will have the answers you are looking for. I suggest a factory subaru hitch. It has a 2400lb capacity.
