THE REBUILD CONTINUES
After the sump it was time for the ARP head studs to be fitted, had a little drama with this which ended in me pulling the studs out 3 times, head gasket or head wouldnt go on with the studs in, go figure
Then the head went on, starting to look like a full on motor now, head was torqued down to ARP specs in a circular pattern to prevent head warping, water pump was also fitted along with the exhaust manifold test fitted to look nice for the pic.
After that the hydraulic lash adjusters were installed along with rocker arms and shims, also fitted the thermostat housing and water hoses.
Then came the alternator assembly which i painted black for appearance
and today i fitted the intake manifold all hoses, exhaust manifold was fitted properly, throttle body was fitted properly, all brackets were sorted out and engine mounts ready to go on
Now all ive got is the tomei 256deg and 11.5mm lift cams when i get my tomei rocker stoppers and fitting the turbo when i get my braided lines,
Also i have nismo 740cc injectors
And an apexi power FC ecu
