So this is my 95 taurus SE its not an SHO and i'm going to keep it that way. I want to make a muscle car out of it but still maintain its non-SHO granny car integrity. I am always up for suggestions so give em if you have em.
i started off just painting the nose and wheel accents green. custom paint with metal flake and this stuff called venom. its supposed to give a snake skin texture and pattern to the paint
then i got an exhaust system custom made. i went with flowmasters.
i didn't feel like doing much with the interior cause it allready has a pretty sweet factory set-up. the SHO seats with the air compressed side bolsters.
still packin the factory essex 3.8. though i plan to order some performance parts from moranav6racing.com like a fully ported and pollished intake, maybe a nice cam and who knows. they even offer a kit to carburate this engine, so i might do that.
then i got a mercury sable fron bumper from a salvage yard and fabbed some fog lamp mounts. I found out that the sable's nose is just a slight different shape than the taurus so i had to make a piece to fill the gaps that were naturally made, and fiberglassed and bondoed it in.
then i got the whole thing re-painted and got a personalized plate. get it FAUXsho? it looks like a sho due to the spoiler and dual exhaust but its not.
another shot of the foglamps.
from the same salvage yard i snagged some wheels off a ford windstar that i thought looked right snappy.
pinstriped my tail lights with some pinstriping tape from checker.
gave it some exhaust cut outs though i don't like them. i plan on going back to the stock bumper.

then slapped on some decals to promote american made cars.
