This car is technically my 8th Mustang. Of the Mustangs I've owned over the years, this is my first convertible. I was still in high school when the last of the FOX Mustangs were built. I remember even back then thinking how much I wanted one, but the insurance would've killed me. The FOXes are an admittedly aquired taste as far as looks go, but I always liked the way the GT's looked.
I found this car in Redding via an ad for a dealership there in town. I happened to be on a trip through Redding that weekend so I stopped by to check it out. The car is a little rough on the edges, but everything still works and it only has about 63,000 original miles. It's a GT (5.0 - V8), fully loaded with all the power options. The car is equiped with an automatic, but beggars can't be choosers when looking for a decently preserved 17 year old car! I'm happy to have added this Mustang to my "stable" and finally have the car I always wanted in high school!
