After installing the sub woofer, I noticed that my speakers were getting a little low, so I added a Panasonic 4 channel 1000 watt power amplifier, bolstering my speakers with higher cleaner sound. Now maybe you think that the amp is too strong for my speakers, but then I checked the manual, and saw that it had an EIA Power Output of 64 watts per channel (Freq. Response of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, 1%, 4 Ohms), and a Max Power Output of 85 Watts per channel (Freq. Response of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, 10%). The speakers handle these numbers perfectly, at 80 Watts RMS, with a frequency response between 60Hz and 20,000Hz. Good balance if all you want is to hear your music inside instead of outside the car.
