I bought this 1993 Mazda Protege DX from my Grandaddy Kite about 9 months before he died. He sold it to me for $100 big ones, because he was looking at a little Geo that he wanted. Well I have a 1981 Delta 88 that gets a whole 10mpg, and the Pro100 gets about 32, so you do the math. For $100, thats not a bad deal for a car that runs, has good tires, the a/c will freeze you, the heat will burn you, and it has a fair interior. I just couldn't turn that down. Well, he goes some of the progress that I have made so far woth the Pro100.
And When I re-tinted the windows, Still Kinda crappy, but I like the black better that the silver.
Here are some pics for my first attempt for the flip-flop trunk conversion.
