Greetings! You have landed on Scott Buwalda's Nissan 260SX Silvia Spec. GT-R CarDomain.com page, the trifecta of speed, style, and sound!
This vehicle was built by myself and select Team Hybrids Members implicitly for my own use as a personal show and demonstration car, and also as a show car for my companies Buwalda Hybrids International, Hybrid Audio Technologies, and a recently organized alliance of the best car and car audio talent in the Eastern USA, Hybrid Services, a full-service super high-end mobile audio and interior custom installation and Nissan performance enterprise in Atlanta, GA.
You are viewing one of my three Nissan S-chassis vehicles: a 1995 Nissan Silvia (S) chassis hybrid with a Skyline GT-R motor set. This car contains parts from several different Nissan models, including the Z32 Fairlady, R32, R33, and R34 Skylines, UKDM 200SX, and Holden Commodore. Since its completion in January 2006, this vehicle has been displayed at only three events, and has won best of show every time (Consumer Electronics Show 2006 - Las Vegas, Nevada, Spring Break Nationals - Daytona Beach, Florida, and Elite Summer Nationals - Spartanburg, SC). The plans for this car include continued development of the design, including the possibility of an R33 crate motor producing in excess of 500kw and the wheels, and a second media campaign in Summer 2007. Naturally, sponsorship opportunities exist with this car: I am seeking a big braking kit sponsor, and forged/stroked internals for the RB26DETT engine set to be built late Spring/early Summer 2007.
For more details on this car and where it will be this year, or to request information about Buwalda Hybrids International, Hybrid Audio Technologies, or Hybrids Services, please contact me at sbuwalda@buwaldahybrids.com or sbuwalda@hybrid-audio.com.
