1997 Civic EX
Snow Storm we had in Jan. I swear I was passing people with 4WD and AWD. All you need is good tires and not be a stupid driver and you can get around fine.
Parking lot fun in the snow... (Only had intake at this point)

Reviews of Modifications:
-Short Ram intake:
For a cheap e-bay intake ($40.00 shipped) the powder-coated SI blue is nice looking under the hood, the HP gains are minimal but the sound is very nice for a CAI. (Photo(s) Coming Soon)
-Greddy EVO2 Stainless Steel Cat-back Exhaust System:
Runs about $550.00 Installed. Sounds like a million bucks, If you are not into that ricer (Fart Can) sound then this is the exhaust for you. It has deep mellow tones at RPM's below 4,000 and above that it doesn't get much louder so if you are concerned about passing DEQ then get this. As for HP, the gains above v-tec are EASILY felt. It seems to have added around 10+ HP. Before you shake your head to that one, My civic was a California car and had two Cat's to meet California's emissions standards, so without that second cat there is easily more than 10HP gain. Overall rating of the exhaust is a 10/10. (Sounds and Pictures are on there way)
-Tanabe Adjustable Coilovers with Skunk2 Rear arms and Poly Top Hats:
First off; if you thought your civic handled great as a stock car then this is the best $650.00 you will ever spend. As for the Difficulty of installation, It shouldn't be hard with the right tools and bolts that aren't rusted. I can take corners about 15-20 mph faster than previously. Of course that depends on the corner, but so far I haven't even had a chance to really test them out because of the wet weather we have been having. So far I love the adjustable dampening, which is a screw on the top of the shock in the front and a dial at the bottom of the shock in the rear. You have 8 levels of adjustments in the rear and 4 in the front. I currently have them set as stiff as they go and the ride is very nice. I would definitely make this my first mod on my next car. If you plan on installing this on your own, be sure to check all bolts for rust prior to beginning the installation; we got to the rear bolts and sheared on off within minutes. Thats why I have the skunk2 rear control arms. The bolts can be hard to find but after looking around and talking to mechanics they claim that the stock bolts are not great. So I am still looking around for some stainless steel ones. (They are hard to find because they are a fine thread metric bolt) As for camber adjustments, we used washers in the rear and have yet to do the front. For how much we lowered it the camber is nor very far off.
