Heres some pictures of my 71 Riviera GS. The list of factory options include; #s matching 455 stage 1, posi rear w/ max trac option, console, bucket seats, power drivers seat, am/fm 8 track, rear defrost, electric climate control,power trunk release, power windows, power locks, air, cruise, tilt,front disc brakes, remote drivers mirror, and optional trumpet horns. The body is super solid but needs paint, minor interior work (re-cover front seats,and carpet) and a new vynil top. It has been in storage for the past 16 yrs.Last fall I pulled the engine and had it checked out by an engine shop,.002-.0025 on the mains and you can still see the cross hatch in the cylinder walls. Then installed,new starter, new frost plugs, new pan gasket, new valve cover gaskets, had carb rebuilt, new hoses and belts, air filter,plugs, wires,replaced the dist with an HEI, had the exhaust manifolds surfaced and painted w/ POR15 high temp manifold paint, new exhaust manifold gaskets. It has 2 1/4" dual exhaust with glasspacks in good shape. This is my next Riv project after my 66 Riv GS is completed. I ended up selling this Riv before I got it done.Picture on the right is after it was finished by the new owner.
