Welp... This is my '86 4000cs "Eulia"

Its a Quattro, and is also a 'limited production Commemorative Edition' with Burgundy[red] leather, among other things.

I bought herin Nov '06 for $2500 and, in my opinion, that was a steal. Her engine ran strong, the body had virtually no rust,

all suspension and other mechanicals were in good shape, with the exception of the rear struts [which i think were factory original]. The interior was overall in pretty good shape for its age, save the one nasty rip in the drivers seat.

I bought the car from an Audi/VW mechanic, so i know it was properly maintained. but aparently mechanics dont have a good sense of audio style, because there was a generic Walmart-esque cd player which only worked if you held the faceplate against it. but as you can see here

I tossed that [literally] and installed a very useful Blaupunkt Key West MP36. The button and screen illumination is red like the dash and ties in with the dash dimmer switch. if it werent for the chrome i could almost pass it off as stock! [edit: i colored the chrome with red sharpie, then gloss coated]
