In 2000 I decided to step it up a bit so I swapped the Trick Flow heads for a set of AFR 210 Race Ready heads and a Crower solid roller cam. Everything else from the '98 build was left alone.

In May of 2001 I took the car to the track and the first pass off the trailer easing into the throttle it ran 11.83 @ 116 with a slow 1.74 sixty foot. On subsequent passes I got more agressive with it but it wouldn't hook and ran a bunch of 12.0's at 114 spinning the tires. I didn't take the car back to the track until January of 2006. See page 2 to see how it did.

Here is the video from 2001.

Here are the specs on the motor:
- '71 LT-1 block bored .030 over

- Clevite bearings
- Fluidampr balancer
- Crower solid roller cam and lifters (264 and 274 @ .050 with .630" lift)
- Crane double bar stud girdle
- Crane Gold race 1.5 ratio roller rockers
- AFR 210 race ready heads with 2.08" and 1.60" valves and 1.550 roller springs
- Port matched Victor Jr. intake
- Race Demon 825CFM general competition carb
- MSD Pro billet distributor
- MSD Digital 6 ignition box

Drivetrain Specifications:
- Hughes 10" GM30 3,000 stall Torque Converter
