I began in Dec. '05, disassembling my once-daily driven, turbocharged 230rwhp Miata. The complete drivetrain with brakes, spindles, and wiring with Link engine management made it's way into a handbuilt chassis I designed. After 14 weeks of intense building, I took the first test drive. 3 days later, I put the car on a trailer and headed to Texas for a Car and Driver article, which came out in the August '06 issue. As with any project like this, you're never "done", and this gallery will show my progress as time goes by.
