In SERVICE, DOin some work to the site.. come back soon!

Just A little update, been hard at work firefighting in BC, and not had alot of time to get much work done, but i have managed to almost complete a bed bob, installed chromoly 30 spline axleshafts, and all new bearings & seals in the front axle. and a quick layer of flat black as well. I also put in my new Corbeau racing seats and harnesses.

Just a couple more little things and then i can get it inspected and on the road. and then i can put the good stuff on. I have the new Rear 5" Trail gear springs with the 6" greesable shackles and hiem joint shackle mount, as well as the trailgear dual transfer case kit and skidplate. waiting to go in.

this is a recent picture, taken before another operation..

I was playing around with paint, and this is

what i was hoping it would look like after i had finished

bobbing the box, and adding longer rear springs..

This is after the bob, i am still in body work process right now.

Working on sandblasting the bed and cutting all the rust out of the corners.

I am currently prepping for some epoxy primer, to keep the rust away.

I cut out the back quarter panels on the box to keep

with the front scheme. It helps with added departure angles,

which is what i did the bed bob for.

here are some of the holes i welded new floor boards into...

and the new piece.

and patched.

NEW seats, complete with NEW corbeau 5-point racing harness's

I Have also added some BEEF to the rear end.

this is what i mean

toyota81freak's 1981 Toyota Pickup

built solid enough to pull out any ford, dodge, or chevy.

The crossmember is built out of 3/16"  2"x4" Steel,

and has been fully welded on both sides,

to be able to withstand  pulling, towing, or What Have You.

eventually i will probly cut out a square, and make it a reciever hitch.

for added versatility.

Here is my ARB Heavy Duty Air Compressor,

it has a built in tank, to run both of my ARB Air Lockers.

toyota81freak's 1981 Toyota Pickup

This system is an electronicaly controlled solenoid valve.

When i flip the Switch in the cab, it opens the valve and

my compressor starts filling the 2.5 Gallon air tank in the box.

But Wait, im not done. There is a 2" pressure gauge in the cab,

Right beside the voltmeter in the center cluster.

Its the White one !
