My Parents just bought me a 2007 Si, and I was like "Woa, I can't believe they bought me a fast car. I instantly hoped in the car and drove it and could not believe how slow it was. It was like slower than any car I had driven since the early 90s. So I drive it home and my parents are smugly smiling saying "it's sho nuff fast son isn't it?" And I am like "Yea" trying not to hurt their feelings and all. So after driving it around for a day, I realize that I probably should check the oil. So I open the hood and under it is a 1.6 liter engine from a 1996 Honda Civic DX. I knew the thing was slow and now I know why. MY parents actually thought it would be safer for me to have a less powerul engine until I was 34.
