Hey, I own a 1978 Trans-Am and a 2002 Trans-Am WS6. The 78' is mostly stock besides an Edelbrock carb. and K&N air filter, besides that a lot of body work.

I had an El Camino that went through power stering fluid like that,lol. I don't think the ls1 gets that bad of gas mileage but to each his own. That is an interesting combo though

I have a 1999 T/A. It orginally had the 5.7 liter LS1 V8, but due to fuel prices I had to replaced the engine with a 1.8 liter engine from a old Lotus Elise. It's really slow now and burns like 60 tons of oil each week, but I get like 40 MPG. I love it.
