Second Owner
In October 2003 I bought a very cherry 1991 300ZX Twin Turbo with only 27k original miles on it, from a fellow Z enthusiast in Medford, OR.  My Z and I share the same serial number (her VIN and my social) so I had no doubts she was meant for my garage.

A high-maintenance girl from day one:
The body and interior were truly in great condition, but the motor was a bit worse for the wear despite the low miles - mostly just from years of sitting - so i spent the winter of 03/04 importing and completely rebuilding a JDM VG30DETT. I was able to slip a few performance mods into the rebuild and ended up with a very fast, extremely fun Z!

Engine #3: Pro edition
April 05. I just was never quite happy with how the motor ran, especially the bottom end. So i contracted a performance shop, Z Sport, to do a professional rebuild. New gaskets, seals, hoses, etc, a new engine wiring harness, the urethane engine mounts and a dual-core radiator were all added, and the block was bored to accomodate the larger Wiseco pistons. I can't even express how happy the motor makes me now - it really purrs. And with the new rims and a few misc mods, it's ready for many more seasons!
