Kick panel build pics:

Hot gluing the MDF rings, then fiberglassing them to the sheetmetal.

Wiring to the kickpanel. Wire runs through a grommet to pass through the sheetmetal, then silicone caulk is applied to secure and seal it.

B-Quiet Vcomp barrier is applied to the floor to further reduce noise and vibrations. Wiring is secured to the body of the car along the door sills.

Spade terminals are used to make replacement easier if needed. Wires from spade terminals are soldered directly to the speaker terminals. Interior carpet is replaced and speaker is mounted to the rings with Torx bit screws to prevent theft. Mounting the speaker onto the carpet helps decouple the speaker from the body of the car.
