The 09 Super Chevy event at Fontana,Calif. is over! My 02 Monte is selected as the winner for Modified Monte Carlo's,and I won a plaque and jacket. Next my Monte is selected as "Best of Class" for the Monte Carlo's, winning another larger plaque and the photo shot for the Super Chevy event's web site.What a great experience, many outstanding Chevrolets from all era's out there in SO CAL. I want to thank my wonderful beautiful girl friend Marie Carter for enduring the whole process of the up's and down's for the past year and a half building this car. Marie your my true love and now is time to focus on the kids and us! love you baby, your the best! I want to thank PAUL'S AUTO AND 4X4 for a first class build on this Monte Carlo. You men are the best,what a first class shop you strive to be. I would not have been here with out your shops commitment to excellence. I choose to continue our relationship because I know you will be fair to me, you will do me a good job but most of all because you care.Thanks very much to the whole team! I did not run the car at the Super Chevy 1/4 mile event as it was either a displayed vehicle or a run vehicle.I will go to the track in Salt Lake city in a couple of weeks and see how bad this car is or is not. Hitting 530 whp,was decent enough, was hoping for more, they said this dyno runs low.
