finally an update.. as of right now on jan 5 2009 my car has been done for a while now, just been working on the little things over the winter.  i had to replace the dohc wire harness because the donor car one was hacked, then i had to replace the dohc ecu because the donor car one wouldnt let the fuel injectors fire.  aside from that i broke the power steering lines and an engine mount during the xfer and had to buy them, which actually took a couple months shipping time due to screwing up orders.  i put a mint dash out of the donor car into mine, so now i have a perfect dash no cracks!

but heres some recent pics of the car the way it sits.

i dont have my lip on yet, or my strut tower bar, im currently dealing with a junky vacuum leak, that i just cant seem to find.  first thing this spring the lip and strut bar are going on.  2nd pic you can see the apexi n1 installed, brand new cat, exhaust seals and one fab'd up tranny/exhaust mount

here's the engine inside my car.  i removed all emmissions, clutch fan, fan shroud, a/c and all components.  i have the stock a/c electric fan hooked up directly for now for cooling.  2nd pic is a shot with the new ps resiviour, lines, and at that moment no manifold.  also the aiv system is removed.  the manifold is connected with all new gaskets, and i got bored and put new gaskets and bolts where the mani meets the downpipe, then i welded it for a good seal, and it was a pain to install! dont do that!

i had to throw some pics of my daughter helping me out while i was bolting the tranny up..not to mention she did hit me in the head with a wrench haha.
