Hey everybody, this page is being dedicated to my 1999 Ford Escort ZX2. I hate even adding the word Escort in it because this damn thing sure doesnt look, act, or drive like an escort.I just got it out of the shop, i hit a deer doing 80 mph, so i fixed it up a little bit more..I painted the top of the wing red to match the car, and added a few decals, got my intake and header on and it sounds awesome, runs better too..Oh well, enjoy..leave feedback

So here's my ZX2. Under the hood is a 2.0L DOHC Zetec engine with a 5-speed manual tranny..Ive done a few things to it so far like adding an aluminum wing, a muffler, and dont laugh, but i put APC logos on it. If you notice, i put a silver Ford logo diagonal across the hood and fender, and there are ZX2 logos down on the rear corners near the back tires, the camera quality isnt very good so its hard to see.
I know APC sucks but still, it was plain lookin and i figured that vinyl is vinyl, so why not go with APC till i get some real stuff on there. Here's some side shots of it. Most of the pics were taken at where i work.

Here is my Fireball Teardrop style muffler. It doesnt sound a bit ricey (unfortunately, i want a little bit of a rice burner sound to it) but ive added a Bomz racing catalytic converter and the muffler and it is quite loud and extremely deep. Sounds real good, i got my header and intake on there, and it sounds awesome. I think i might run another muffler out the other side too, i dunno for sure, im debating on it.
Heres a couple shots of the wing from the back, i painted the long middle part of the wing the same color red as the car and left the end pieces silver and mounting brackets black.
well thats pretty much it for now till i get some more pics...Ive got 17" rims on it now but ran out of pics on my disposable cam, and then blew a tire, so i still couldnt get pics (cheap? i know..lol, Kodak picture cd and a disposable cam. all the way..lol). My future plans are to put some graphics on , put Progress sport springs, tint the windows, install my system, body kit, id like to find a Invader style hood for it, and possibly run dual exhausts, im not for sure about it though.
