10/28/2008 This weekend, I atteded the Speedforsale meet at Steele raceway in Alabama. Things have slowed quite a bit for this car as family financials slowed down. But we addressed several problems with the still unpainted, untuned car. We swapped out my slipping Centerforce clutch for an ACT, and fixed several other issues. Now I have to give the clutch a proper break in, and hopefully it will get tuned soon. I have no idea when paint will happen as of now though.
Here's the latest pic of my car. It just cam out of the body shop having the front bumper and Bomex parts installed. That is the first thing I have let anybody do to my car since it was a parted out shell, other than having the engine bay painted. The final paint job should come fairly soon. Stay tuned, while I get tuned. My next addition to the page should be the addition of power numbers, as soon as I get it tuned.
I'm ForcedTorque, and this is my 89 3E5 Bright Red Toyota Supra Turbo that I am building. This started as a Shell that I bought to replace the 90 Grey Turbo that I totalled when a drunk pregnant woman pulled out in front of me on a main highway. I will add more pictures as the build comes along. So far, I have swapped over my grey moldings, tail lights, spoiler, rear bumper, hatch, interior, and mirrors.
Next, I plan to repaint my engine bay, and then install the motor. The car will live the first period of it's life Grey/Red/White/Black (Frankensupra) until I can afford to have it painted. My plan is to go with the original Red, but I would love to go with the grey. I just don't like to color swap a car. What are your thoughts on color?
Here is my interior all stripped out. The previous owner had layed shadow grey carpet over the top of the original grey carpet. I decided while I had it all out, that I would leave it like that, because I like it. It looks good, and the extra layer will help out with road noise. The shadow grey carpet doesn't appear to be too thick, so it's not too bulky.
Here's a shot of a really nice steering wheel
And here's the interior with almost all of the front completed. I will not be adding the rear seats until I can have the rear quarter glass sealed properly.
Here's my 87 Turbo that I was driving while I built this car until August 07. I was carless for a couple of months after the white car sold.
This is an almost complete engine bay shot. After it runs and is painted, it will get a good bit more dress up.

As of today........November 3, 2007 my car is running. Plans changed drastically since opening this page. The motor underwent quite a few upgrades, and it should make for a very nice ride. I'll update with all mods later, but i'll just say 400HP +/-, and body mods. Check back soon!
This is how the car is looking now. They call it Frankensupra, but it soon will be all one color. I'm adding Bomex sides and rear skirts, along with a Shine Auto front Bumper. The bumper is seen in the picture.
Here's how the engine bay is looking after a fresh coat of 3E5 Red. I also had the radiator support straightened, and the rear quarter glass replaced while it was in the body shop. I was able to get my motor in it without scratching the paint much at all.
Here's a table full of engine mods in their place before the motor was ready. Close ups shall follow.
Now for some of the engine mods! Here's my new Spearco Replica Intercooler from Driftmotion. I went with 2 1/2 inch hard pipes with red silicone couplers and T-Bolt clamps. Also seen in this picture is my Walbro 255 Fuel Pump.
