    Thanks for the nice comment, they are very appreciated. I passed on buying the car back because I would have been too tempted to improve it! When you have a car a long time, it is very easy to keep working on it, sometimes to it's detriment. Changing the history would not have done it any favors. I had always really wanted to put a full hood, and a proper Plymouth or Mopar grille on it. There is a neat website called www.hotrodsof dearborn.com that is a lot of wonderful old car history of when we were young. I have always been a roadster guy, since I had this car, and still have always had at least a convertible to this day. Life is better in an open car!

    I still have my high school car (a 38 plymouth 4-dr.) but that is because i am still in high school! I understand how tight money can get when in high school, so i choose a rod with a roof, so i could drive it in the rain. Come check it out sometime.Keith

    Thanks! It is hard to beleive that it has been that long, yet it seems like only last week. I wonder if all of the "new" cars (70's to 90's) will feel the same in 20 years?
