The new rearend
Here is my 68 Buick GS400 vert. I bought the car in Texas thinking that she was in much better shape. I had her transported to me by DAS transports, broke by DAS transports in transit, so thats where it all began.
She was a total pig underneath, mud was impacted in every part of the frame. The floorpans were replaced with a F- replacement job. All in all the car was probably a 2 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being perfect. So far I have scrubed and painted the frame, having the floorpans replaced right now, having the 455 motor overbored .030, putting in a mild cam and PnP'ed right now, replaced the peg leg with a 12 bolt posi unit with 3.83 gears. Replaced the front and rear suspension, replaced the exhaust, replaced the braking system, put in a built 700r4 trans. She is coming along nicely, and I will post up more pics as I finish the jobs
